Free round little pocket in granny square : tutorial

After completing my Crocheted potholder using my  Granny square carré soleil pattern, I just had always a lot of left over from my Grandala square embroidery pocket. So I’ve decided to try to work a little round pocket and I’m happy to share with you the tutorial .

I know, I’m not serious, so many unfinished projects are still here just waiting to be finished….,

but it’s so fantastic to begin new project, to follow an idea and make it alive .

So here is the round pocket Carré soleil :

And now the tutorial:

Round granny

begin with a sliding loop

Rnd 1 6 sc in ring, place marker in 1^st sc for beginning of round and move it as each round is completed (6 sc)

Rnd 2 2 sc in each sc of previous round (12 sc)

Rnd 3 *sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc* repeat from * to * 6 times (18 sc)

Rnd 4 *sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc* repeat from * to * 6 times (24 sc)

Rnd 5 *sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc* repeat from * to * 6 times (30 sc)

Rnd 6 *sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc* repeat from * to * 6 times (36 sc)

Rnd 7 *sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc* repeat from * to * 6 times (42 sc)

Rnd 8 *sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc* repeat from * to * 6 times (48 sc)
